The Men’s Breakfast group meets on the first Saturday of every month. The group was started approximately 20 years ago as a fellowship and prayer group. It is a good time to share stories, tell jokes, and just get to know each other a little bit better. When St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church began sharing space in our church building, we asked their men to join us and they were excited to do so. Several members of our congregation are also friends with the men at Ozark Christian Church, and the group has expanded to consist of men from all three churches from three different Christian denominations. The group remains small enough to know everyone, but large enough to have good conversations in the Spirit of the Lord. It’s a great time for food, fellowship, and becoming friends with men of faith.

We also look forward to doing mission work together. Our first project together was a hygiene drive for Freedom’s Rest, a domestic violence shelter in Ozark. As we strengthen our group, we will continue to reach out for opportunities to serve with supplies needs or other more hands-on opportunities as they arise.
